Azerbaijan joins Poland’s LATO Fair 2012 tourism show
Baku, April 21 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan for the first time takes part in LATO Trade Fair, the greatest consumer trade fair in Poland. Here Azerbaijan’s ministry of culture and tourism presents the country’s tourism oppurtunities. The Azerbaijani stand features the country’s companies such as The Tour, Millennium Tourism and Congress DMC, Geo Travel and Gallery hotel.
The opening ceremony of a three-day exhibition was held on Friday.
The LATO Trade Fair is a major consumer trade fair in Poland presenting offers of trips and lodgings mostly for the spring and summer holiday season. It is a unique marketplace of summer and weekend recreation offers in the most attractive regions of Poland and abroad. Many presented offers are available at promotional rates only at the Trade Fair.
The event is a chance for the visitors to find, at one location, anything that is indispensable for planning a satisfying weekend trip or holiday. The offering of the exhibitors is very rich and capable of satisfying the most varied needs, including fans of sandy beaches, lovers of active recreation, those who seek interesting adventures as well as families with children and youth. The Summer in the City salon will open its doors to numerous cities of Poland enabling them to present their attractions. At one venue, trade show guests will be able to learn about cities worth visiting, monuments not to miss and programs of planned fairs, festivals and concerts - show-related topics.
The exhibitors will include travel agencies offering trips that anyone can afford to almost all destinations of the world; organizers of recreation for children and youth; hotels, pensions and hostels; holiday and recreation resorts; health resorts, sanatoria and spa centers; owners of agricultural farms; language schools; carriers (airlines, coach companies, railway companies and ferry operators); regions, gminas and poviats and cities and insurance companies.
The LATO Trade Fair is accompanied by numerous side events such as concerts of folk bands, performances of bands, dance shows, tasting of regional specialties and competitions with prizes.
The Exhibitors can benefit from reaching many customers at the show – the recent edition of the LATO Trade Fair was visited by nearly 26,000 visitors who were looking for ideas for summer vacation just before the beginning of the season.
