Istanbul hosts 36th Meeting of BSEC Council of FMs

The 36th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) has kicked off in Istanbul, Turkey. An Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev is attending the event.
Turkish deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yıldız and Secretary General of BSEC Michael Christides addressed the opening ceremony to highlight the activities of the organization and lay out its future priorities.
The Council will discuss the current situation in the Black Sea region, fight against terrorism, the strengthening of cooperation between member states and development prospects.
Mammadguliyev will deliver a speech at the meeting.
