Discussions on establishment of Islamic World Higher Education Conference underway in Ankara

The fourth meeting of rectors of leading universities of Muslim countries on the establishment of the Islamic World Higher Education Conference has kicked off in Ankara.
Initiated by the Turkish Higher Education Council, the meeting is organized at the Presidential Administration.
Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by a delegation of rectors of various universities.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the official opening ceremony of the meeting.
The establishment of the Islamic World Higher Education area aims to expand student exchanges among the influential universities in Muslim countries, to take more efficient use of current mutual experiences, to strengthen ties between the rectorates, and try for the return of the young people studying in foreign countries to their homelands.
