Jabrayil, October 23, AZERTAC
A group of employees of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) have visited Jojug Marjanli, which was retaken from Armenian occupation.
The journalists first visited a memorial to April martyrs on the Horadiz-Jabrayil highway.
The employees of the agency then visited the secondary school named after Novruz Aslanov. Although it was a weekend, some of the schoolchildren came to school to meet with the journalists. The delegation toured the classrooms and had a talk with teachers and schoolchildren. School and sports belongings were donated to the school.
On behalf of the staff, Director General Aslan Aslanov congratulated the teachers and children on the occasion of their returning to their native landy. Aslan Aslanov wished the school staff success.
The participants of the meeting were very impressed with a letter and a book of the granddaughter of AZERTAC's employee Daghbayi Ismayilov, Nuray Ismayilova, a schoolgirl from Baku, to the third-grade pupil of Jojug Marjanli Nuray Aslanova. In her letter, little Nuray writes about her grandfather's native land Gubadli which is also under the Armenian occupation. Both Nurays have lost their uncles, Elgun Ismayilov and Novruz Aslanov, in the battle against the enemy. AZERTAC employees then planted Eldar pine trees in the schoolyard.
The journalists were deeply impressed with a newly-built Jojug Marjanli mosque, which is a reminiscent of famous Shusha mosque.
The delegation then familiarized themselves with new houses and buildings under construction as part of the next stage of construction works in the village.
