The First Eurasian Conference on "Emerging energy economies in the Caspian regions: Changes and Opportunities" continues its work in Baku.
Organized by the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), the conference will see experts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, US, China, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Austria, Ukraine and Japan give papers.
The participants are reviewing the prospects of alternative and renewable energy projects against the background of cheap energy prices in Caspian region, energy policy for sustainable development, cooperation in the field of electricity, energy efficiency and storage areas, as well as issues such as regional strategy on alternative and renewable energy sources.
