40th international forum on diplomatic training wraps up in Baku
Baku, September 29 (AZERTAC). The 40th meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations the “International Forum on Diplomatic Training” (IFDT) has today ended in the new complex of ADA.
The last day of the event featured two panel meetings.
The panel saw discussions on change of force balance from the West to the East, continuing financial and economic crisis in the western countries, global security.
The second panel included exchange of views on a role of regional organization in improvement of management, dissemination of sphere of interests around world.
The participants also discussed a theme “A way of diplomatic training leading to the international forum: exchange of experience, response to new challenges and opening of new fronts.”
Chairman of the Milli Majlis committee on international and interparliamentary relations Samad Seyidov told of achievements gained in Azerbaijan`s foreign policy.
Agreements on cooperation between ADA and the diplomatic academies of Lithuania, Qatar, Morocco, Serbia and Peru have been signed.
The quests will also visit Shaki and Gabala regions.
