The United Nations-Azerbaijan framework agreement for 2016-2020 will receive $70 million. The document provides for support for the Azerbaijani government and nation in several fields, said UN resident coordinator Ghulam Isaczai.
The funds will be provided by the UN, European Union, Azerbaijani government, trust funds and other donors. The agreement envisages the creation of new jobs, development of healthcare, education, improvement of the agricultural sector effectiveness, environmental protection.
