8th Turkic World International Congress on Public Sciences kicks off in Baku

The 8th Turkic World International Congress on Public Sciences has started in Baku.
The congress brings together 250 scientists from 12 countries.
Addressing the event, rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University Adalat Muradov noted that education was among key priorities in the Azerbaijani government`s strategy to develop the non-oil sector.
Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun said nearly 10,000 Azerbaijani students are studying in Turkey, while thousands of Turkish citizens are enrolled by universities in Azerbaijan. He also highlighted business relations between the two countries, saying Azerbaijan will soon be one of the biggest investors in Turkey.
