Ibrahimovic shirt sales could fund Pogba’s Manchester United move
Baku, July 30 AZERTAC
With Manchester United reportedly raking in €90 million from the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic shirts in just one week, it’s easy to see why the club are closing in on a deal for Paul Pogba.
The Juventus midfielder is all but certain to rejoin the Red Devils after leaving the club in 2012, though his agent Mino Raiola hit out at journalists for stating the transfer is done. The Sun reports that the Premier League giants have already made €90m, and considering kits are being sold for €105 in the club’s team store, that would mean that over 800,000 units have already been purchased.
United are expected to shell out €100m to land Pogba’s signature, but that figure isn’t worrisome considering the amount of money the club have brought in from the sale of Ibrahimovic’s No.9 jersey.
