ANAMA, British Embassy sign MoU

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and British Embassy to Azerbaijan have signed a memorandum of understanding on September 14.

The Memorandum was signed by ANAMA director Gazanfar Ahmadov and the ambassador of the Great Britain to Azerbaijan Carol Crofts.

Under the MoU, funded by the British government, ANAMA will clear Azerbaijani border regions of mines and unexploded ordnance.

The project will start in second half of September and end on March next year.
