AZERTAC and Argentina`s Telam national news agency have agreed to broaden news exchange as Director General Aslan Aslanov met with Telam President Rodolfo Pousa on the sidelines of “Transforming of Journalism for the Information Age and its Role in Ensuring Inter-Civilizational Dialogue” as part of the 5th Baku International Humanitarian Forum.

Mr Aslanov said the two agencies maintain cooperation in international and regional media organizations. “The opening of AZERTAC`s branch in Argentina will contribute to the development of the bilateral relations.”

Mr Pousa praised Azerbaijan-Argentina ties, and stressed the significance of expanding cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism.
