“There is a democratic election environment in Azerbaijan,” said the country`s Deputy Prime Minister, deputy chairman and executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov as he met a group of international observers of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
Mr. Ahmadov spoke of the conditions create in Azerbaijan for holding “free, democratic and transparent” elections according to international standards.
The Deputy Premier stressed the conditions created by the Azerbaijani government for international observers. “The government attaches particular emphasis to holding democratic, free and transparent elections.”
The international observers hailed the election environment in the country.
Mr. Ahmadov responded to questions from the observers.
