Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his Australian counterpart Julie Bishop have discussed ways of expanding relations between their countries as they met on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
They exchanged views on the bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations, especially UN Security Council. The two also discussed development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, economic and trade relations, as well as the organization of high-level visits.
Mammadyarov also highlighted the state of negotiations to solve the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
