Azerbaijan, Georgia mull inter-parliamentary relations

‘Azerbaijan is interested in development of inter-parliamentary relations. Today, bilateral relations between the two countries are developing in all spheres. Expansion of ties between the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Georgia, reciprocal visits of lawmakers, having the same positions and support for each other on the international organizations serve strengthening of these bounds’.
This was stated by Aflatun Amashov, Azerbaijani MP, head of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Inter-parliamentary friendship group at his meeting with Zviad Dzidziguri, head of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary friendship group in Tbilisi.
The sides have also focused on the question of preparation of action plan on expansion of activity of the inter-parliamentary friendship groups.
Members of Georgian Parliaments Mahir Darziyev, Ruslan Hajiyev, Tamaz Naveriani took part at the meeting.
