Baku, October 24, AZERTAC
Azerbaijan has been invited to the summit of energy ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC countries that will be held on October 28-31 in Vienna. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev will attend the summit, which will discuss oil output cut and freeze.
On Saturday, Azerbaijan unilaterally declared that it will not increase the output and export of oil in an attempt to contribute to regulating and stabilizing the global oil market and to increasing the oil prices.
Participants of the OPEC unofficial meeting in Algeria agreed to limit oil output between 32.5-33 million barrels per day in September.
