Kazakh First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Commissioner of the International exhibition Astana EXPO-2017 Rapil Zhoshybayev reportedly visit Azerbaijan on December 4, AZERTAC quoted the Embassy of Kazakhstan as saying on Saturday. Zhoshybayev is scheduled to meet with the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev, who is also in charge of the Azerbaijani section at EXPO-2017. The parties are expected to sign an agreement on Azerbaijan`s participation in EXPO-2017 in Astana.
According to the Kazakh Embassy, during the last visit of Zhoshybaev to Azerbaijan in 2014, he held meetings with Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov, Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev and Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev. The two countries agreed to promote cooperation between their government agencies and attract corporate participants for EXPO 2017.
