Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan attends charity events

Embassy of Azerbaijan to Pakistan took part at the charity event in Islamabad organized by the Association of Women of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country.
The event brought together First Lady of Pakistan Begum Mahmud Hussain, Pakistan Prime Minister's Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and other officials, senators and journalists.
The accredited ambassadors to Islamabad demonstrated their country's history, culture, customs and traditions associated with various household items, souvenirs, as well as samples of national cuisine.
The Azerbaijani corner has featured the Old City, Shirvanshah’s Palace and Maiden Tower, Shaki Khan’s Palace, Nizami Ganjavi's mausoleum, Momina Khatun Mausoleum, as well as the models of monuments of ancient and modern Baku, the publications devoted to national leader Heydar Aliyev’s life and activity, Azerbaijan's economic development and cultural life and the books on Azerbaijani and Pakistan friendly relations. Those who visited the corner have tasted samples of Azerbaijani cuisine. Guests interested in books on the economic development of Azerbaijan, souvenirs, watching with interest various exhibits.
