Azerbaijani FM meets OSCE Chairman-in-Office

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met OSCE Chairman-in-Office, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic.
Elmar Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction with the development of political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Serbia and emphasized the promotion of cooperation in energy, transport, agriculture and humanitarian spheres.
Underlining that OSCE is an institution primarily responsible for the resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, FM Elmar Mammadyarov added that the settlement of conflict is only possibly under the norms and principles of international law, particularly respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders and the relevant four resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
Mammadyarov asked the Serbian side to raise the issues of restoration of rights of Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons who expelled from their homes at the result of Armenian aggression, release of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev who were taken hostage by Armenian armed forces while visiting the graveyards of their parents and exchanging of information about the fate of more than 4000 Azerbaijanis who are considered missing persons and establishment of dialogue between Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its chairmanship.
Ivica Dacic stressed that the relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan in different spheres are on a steady growth and the two countries are also closely cooperating within the international organizations.
Furthermore, he added that all parties have to comply with the Helsinki Final Act and the double standards have to be avoided.
As regards with the proposals, Ivica Dacic said that he would raise up these issues within the OSCE.
The sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
