Azerbaijani Journalists’ visit to Turkey completes

Baku, May 1 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani journalists’ visit co-organized by Press Council of Azerbaijan (APC) and Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA) within the framework of the “Exchange of Experience” program, completed. During four days, the delegation of the journalists working in numerous regions of Azerbaijan became closely acquainted with the media organizations of fraternal country, especially regions’ mass media and held meetings on the development of joint cooperation.
First, Azerbaijani journalists have paid a visit to the Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s monument erected in the park named after Heydar Aliyev.
Azerbaijani media representatives get acquainted with a number of media organizations of Ankara, Konya and Istanbul within the framework of the visit program. The delegation held meetings with the editorial in “KanalTurk” TV, “Bu Gun” and “Zaman” newspapers, “Jihan” news agency, also visited Journalists and Writers Foundation.
Head of the platform “Dialogue Eurasia” Ismail Tas and Secretary-General of the Writers’ Union Erkan Tufan Aytab told about the activity areas of both organizations.
Executive Secretary of the Azerbaijan Press Council Rahim Huseynzade spoke about the relations between Azerbaijani Press Council and Journalists and Writers Foundation of Turkey and both organizations’ projects.
