The governments of Azerbaijan and Palestine have signed an agreement exempting the holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements, according to Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry.
The document was signed during the visit of Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov to the State of Palestine.
During his visit, Azimov met with Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah, secretary general of the Palestine Liberation Organization Saeb Erekat and deputy minister of foreign affairs Tayser Jaradat. They discussed cooperation prospects as well as situation in the Middle East and the South Caucasus.
