Azerbaijani Premier meets Iranian FM

Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has today met an Iranian delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Highlighting the existing economic and cultural relations between the two countries, the sides noted that there were ample opportunities for the development of mutually fruitful cooperation. The parties underlined the effective results of the joint work in a number of fields, especially in energy supply, transport, agriculture, culture and tourism, and stressed the necessity of conducting meetings and exchange of experience in this direction.
Touching upon the international cooperation, the sides spoke of the fight against terrorism and extremism and the settlement of the regional conflicts. On the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the officials said the problem must be settled within international legal norms and based on Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
The sides also exchanged views over a number of other issues of mutual interest.
