The defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia have signed a cooperation plan for 2017 as Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov met with Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu on the sidelines of the 71st meeting the CIS Defense Ministers in Moscow.
They discussed the current state and prospects of development of the military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, as well as issues related to regional security.
The Russian Minister said the defense ministries of both countries conducted joint activities to fight against international terrorism.
Colonel General Zakir Hasanov stressed the development of the military and military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.
