Azerbaijani delegation led by the Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Vidadi Zeynalov, has attended the International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX 2015), in Tehran, on June 9.
Azerbaijan’s 48-square-meter pavilion, organized with the support of country's embassy in Iran, is presented products and services of 10 companies, operating in the field of information technology in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani representatives held presentations and informed the participants of the event about the products of "Sinam" LLC, "Cybernet", "Baktelekom" companies, services provided by "Azerkosmos", the projects implemented by the Development Foundation of "High-Tech Park" LLC and Information and Communication Technologies, as well as Teleradio Production Unit, also TASIM Project of international importance initiated by Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony of the event, held by the participation of the vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sattari Surina, informed that the exhibition demonstrates the latest achievements in the field of high Technologies of more than 100 countries around the world.
The companies operating in the field of high technologies from Russia, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, India, Korea, Japan, Great Britain, China and other countries participated at the exhibition.
At the invitation of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov, the vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sattari Surina visited Azerbaijan’s pavilion and reviewed the information and communication products produced in the country.
Within the exhibition Azerbaijani delegation exchanged experiences and discussed the possibilities of establishing mutual cooperation at the meetings held with heads of other countries’ companies.
Azerbaijan’s national pavilion also presented stand on the First European Games to be held in Baku. The stand informed the participants about this spectacular sporting event.
Within their visit to Tehran, Azerbaijani delegation also was at "Pardis" High-Tech Park, operating under the leadership of Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology. During the meeting with the leadership of the park the sides exchanged views on beneficial cooperation and prospects for relations among the relevant institutions of the two countries.
The exhibition will run until June 12.
