Azerbaijani fighters have successfully competed in 2016 World Martial Arts Games held in Bad Kissingen, Germany.

Coach of Neftchi Sports Club Rafet Asadov became the winner of the K-1 tournament after defeating Indian, German and Thai fighters.

Samir Salmanov won the belt after defeating his Italian rival.

Azerbaijani kickboxers Tural Javadov and Vugar Imanov ranked second and third respectively.
