Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry: Armenian armed units violated ceasefire 111 times

Azerbaijan`s defense ministry has said the Armenian armed forces continue to violate the ceasefire regime. “The Azerbaijani armed forces came under fire from 60-, 82- and 120mm-mortars, large-calibre artillery and grenade-launchers a total of 111 times throughout the day,” the ministry said in a statement.

“The Azerbaijani army`s positions came under fire from Armenian villages, including Shavarsharan in Noyemberyan district, Vazashen, Berkaber villages in Ijevan district, Chinari, Mosesgekh and Aygedzor villages in Berd district,” the ministry said.

“The army`s positions also came under fire from the Armenia-occupied districts of Azerbaijan, including Shuraabad, Shikhlar, Shirvanli, Kangarli, Yusifjanli and Marzili villages in Aghdam, Garakhanbayli, Gorgan, Ashaghi Veysalli and Ashaghi Seyidahmadli villages in Fuzuli, as well as nameless hills in Goygol, Goranboy, Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand,” the ministry added.
