Gyeongju, August 20, AZERTAC
An agreement on "establishment of friendly relations" between South Korean Gyeongju and Azerbaijani Gabala cities was signed. The document was inked by head of the Gabala Region Executive Authority Sabuhi Abdullayev and mayor of Gyeongju Cho Yang-sik.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the sides hailed relations between the two countries in the political, economic, cultural fields. They noted the importance of expansion of bilateral ties in various fields.
They also stressed the importance of the agreement which would be a base for establishment of relations between the historic Gabala and Gyeongju cities.
According to the agreement, the parties agreed on establishment of friendly relations through exchange of delegations in the fields of business, sport and youth.
