Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy meets Minister of State of Japan

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev has met Japanese Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization, Total Reform of Social Security and Tax, Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy Akira Amari.

They highlighted relations between the two countries, saying these bonds entered a new stage with the energy cooperation during the independence years of Azerbaijan.

The Minister stressed the importance of continuing Azerbaijani-Japanese ties in friendship manner.

Akira Amari thanked Azerbaijan for support of "Itochu" Corporation in participation in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan projects for more than 20 years.

Minister Aliyev said Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli had great potential. Touching upon the project over "Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex" the Minister said the relevant field would be improved till 2032.
