The flame of the Baku 2015 First European Games has arrived in Gakh district.
At the symbolic gate of the European Games in the district, the flame was handed to world universal fighting champion Ramil Mammadli.
Torchbearers then started their 3km long route and carried the flame into the Central Square to the sound of wild applause. World Kung Fu fighting champion Zaur Isakov lit the flame of the European Games. The flame was then transferred to a commemorative lamp that will remain lit in Heydar Aliyev Center until the end of the Games.
The event featured demonstration of a footage highlighting a ceremony to light the flame of the Baku 2015 First European Games in Ateshgah temple.
