Baku hosts business forum of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan and CEIBC
Baku, June 10 (AZERTAC). Prospects of development, major tendencies and innovations in the field of development of migration policy of the state were discussed on June 10 in Baku at the joint business-forum organized by the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Caspian European Club (CEIBC) and held under the chairmanship of the Chief of the State Migration Service, Firudin Nabiyev.
Addressing the business-forum, Chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Firudin Nabiyev thanked CEIBC for arranging the business-to-government dialogue. He stressed the necessity of conduction of such meetings within the framework of CEIBC in order to create much closer and transparent contact between government agencies and the private sector. According to him, such dialogue promotes the development of the economy of the country.
Discussed at the meeting were issues of migration legislation, prospects of development in this sphere as well as issues that are of interest to CEIBC.
Firudin Nabiyev spoke in details about the activity of the State Migration Service and the migration policy of the state.
During the event Firudin Nabiyev answered numerous questions of the CEIBC member companies, discussed problems they face. In particular, issues concerning migration policy and bearing legislative character were discussed.
Based on the results of the meeting, an agreement about creation of the working group for prompt response to problems that the companies face when working the State Migration Service was reached. Firudin Nabiyev thanked Caspian European Club for an opportunity to get to know about problems and difficulties that businessmen face directly from the primary source.
Participating in the business-forum was also Ismayil Abdullayev, Head of the Chief Department for Regulation of Migration Processes of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.
Addressing the business-forum, Chief Executive Office of the Caspian European Club (CEIBC) Telman Aliyev thanked Firudin Nabiyev for the constructive dialogue as well as attention to proposals and requests that CEIBC member companies made during the event.
He provided information about the forth-coming II International Caspian Energy Forum – 2014 to be held in Tbilisi in November.
According to him, the conference has a one day agenda and consists of two parts. The first part will be dedicated to the development of the oil-gas, energy and ecological sectors. Thematic forums, Caspian European Financial Forum, Caspian European Tourism Forum, Caspian European Investment Forum and Caspian European Infrastructure Forum will be held in the section dedicated to the development of the non-oil sector.
He noted that CEIBC was established in June 2002 in association with Caspian Energy International Media Group and under intensive support of largest oil & gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been a chairman of CEIBC. According to Telman Aliyev, CEIBC has promoted attraction of oil sector revenues into development of the non-oil sector since its establishment. CEIBC is operating in 50 countries worldwide, carrying out an active work in maintenance of the dialogue between government agencies and the private sector.
The Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Firudin Nabiyev was presented CEIBC honorary membership certificate.
