A meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers has today been held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Participants in the meeting included Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia, Moldova and deputy ministers of foreign Affairs.
The ministers reviewed draft joint statements of the heads of states on the 25th anniversary of CIS, fight against international terrorism, the 70th anniversary of the completion of Nuremberg Tribunal and the global drug problem. Further steps to optimize the activities of CIS were among key issues.
