Minsk-based CIS Executive Committee on June 16 will host the next meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of CIS with the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth. Chairman of CIS Executive Committee Sergei Lebedev will take part in the meeting, which is expected to summarize a June 7 Bishkek meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government, which adopted 22 documents related to cooperation between CIS countries. Participants will consider appropriateness of amending the rules of procedure of the Council of Heads of State, Heads of Government, Council of Foreign Ministers and CIS Economic Council. They will also discuss a draft resolution of the Council of CIS Heads of State on adaptation to modern realities. In addition, they will consider the candidacy of the head of the mission of CIS observers to the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.
