‘CIS member states should improve practical military cooperation tools’

“CIS member states should improve practical military cooperation tools,” Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Oleg Belokonev said at a meeting of CIS Armed Forces Chiefs of Staff Committee. "Today, amid sharp changes in the geopolitical situation, we should put a premium importance on issues of practical cooperation. We need to develop mechanisms for cooperation and response to emerging threats and find practical ways to improve them," he said.

Delegations from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Armenia attended the CIS Armed Forces Chiefs of Staff Committee meeting.
