Can Azerbaijan Baku Fires halt their losing run against Rafako Hussars Poland?

World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season IV runners-up Azerbaijan Baku Fires have had a poor start to the fifth instalment of the competition, having lost their last two matches.
Conversely, their opponents Rafako Hussars Poland have impressed in losing efforts against Puerto Rico Hurricanes and Astana Arlans Kazakhstan, and won their first match of the season last week against Argentina Condors.
The Guba Olympic Complex hosts this Group B clash.
Azeri Flyweight (52 kg) Elvin Mamishzada opens the action in front of his home fans, and he will look to avenge the disappointment of his opening week loss to Eduard Johan Bermúdez Salas when he faces Poland’s Grzegorz Kozlowski.
Polish Lightweight (60 kg) Dawid Michelus defeated former Kazakhstan National Champion Zakir Safiullin in his first match of the season, and seeks his second win in a row against WSB veteran Albert Selimov.
Azerbaijan’s Parviz Baghirov had a terrific youth career, and continues his senior progress in WSB with a Welterweight (69 kg) clash against Ireland’s 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Steven Donnelly who won his first match of the campaign by outpointing Madiyar Ashkeyev.
Light heavyweight (81 kg) action follows, with 0-1 Soltan Migitinov fighting Poland’s Jordan Kuliński who makes his first appearance of Season V.
The last bout of the evening is at Super heavyweight (91+ kg) and Azerbaijan’s Arslanbek Makhmudov, the number one ranked in his weight class last season will have to recover quickly from being stopped by Edgar Ramon Munoz Mata two weeks ago when he competes against Mantas Valavicius.
