Baku, November 14, AZERTAC

“China strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 140 people and wounded many others on Friday night,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said, according to Xinhua.

French President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency soon after the attacks. The French government raised the anti-terrorism alert to the highest level and deployed thousands of additional security forces across the country.

According to local media reports, French anti-terrorist forces have killed four suspected attackers in a siege of a concert hall, where dozens had been held hostages.
