“Converging Technologies and Predictions for the Future: the Main Challenges of the 21st Century” round table has been held as part of the 5th Baku International Humanitarian Forum.
In his remarks, president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizade said the forum aimed to create a favorable platform for the international community to address a variety of challenges in the fields of politics, science and economy.
The round table featured three panel meetings: Security issues of nuclear technology and fusion energy; Issues in expanding the scope and sources of renewable energy; Convergence of radiation-, nano- and bionano-technology.
