I cordially congratulate you and all the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Republic Day.
The stability in the Caucasus is highly important for your country and the whole Europe. I am absolutely confident that the maintenance of peace and elimination of the regional confrontations may speed up the development of Azerbaijan and the region as a whole.
Rest assured that Germany is ready to contribute to conflict resolution not only as an incumbent chair of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, but also as a country. I also assure you that Germany will remain Azerbaijan’s reliable partner in the development of democracy and constitutional statehood.
