Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,
I cordially congratulate you and all the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The Great Victory is common, invaluable asset of our people who fought shoulder to shoulder against the brutal enemy and saved the world from Nazism.
Today our duty is to revere the fallen heroes like the apples of our eyes, provide comprehensive care to war veterans, and prevent a repetition of the tragic events of the past.
I am confident that hardened in the years of the Great Patriotic War, brotherly friendship will continue to be a solid basis for the strengthening of strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan – for the good of our countries, for the sake of ensuring stability and security in the Caucasus and the Caspian region.
