GUAM headquarters hosts meeting on emergency response

Kiev, December 1, AZERTAC

The Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) headquarters in Kiev has hosted the 13th meeting of the Working Group on Emergencies. The two-day meeting was attended by representatives of the GUAM national authorities for emergency situations as well as representatives of the organization`s Secretariat.

The participants exchanged information on prevention of and response to emergency situations, cooperation with other countries and international organizations. The Working Group on Emergencies approved a report on the implementation of the plan of action for 2015 and 2016.

The next meeting of the working group will take place next May.
