Georgia to host Caucasian Jazz Festival 2016

Caucasian jazz festival will be held in Georgia from 8 to 11 June for the seventh time. The festival will welcome jazz lovers in the fortress of Rabati in Akhaltsikhe. Musicians from the United States, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia will perform at various festival venues along with Georgian jazz musicians. For the first time the festival will also include a joint training program of famous American jazz saxophonist and teacher Jamey Aebersold and a two-week educational program of the Tbilisi State Conservatory will be held from June 1 to 14. In addition, round tables are planned with the participation of music experts from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Germany and the United States .
