“Azerbaijan is our strategic partner and main supplier of natural gas. We successfully cooperate with Azerbaijan in all spheres, including energy,” Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at the international conference here.
The Georgian Premier refused the allegations that Georgia plans to buy natural gas from other countries, calling them “groundless”.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Georgia. “We are effectively cooperating in all spheres, including energy sector, and our cooperation in this area will continue in the future,” Kvirikashvili said.
He thanked Azerbaijan for involving Georgia in energy projects, as well as for the country's approach to solving gas and other problems faced by Georgia.
