Georgian President: Azerbaijan is our strategic partner

"Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Georgia. Georgia is interested in developing and strengthening these relations," said Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili as he met with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade in Tbilisi.

They exchanged views on prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, activities of the East-West energy corridor, as well as other energy projects implemented in the region.

Azerbaijani PM Rasizade hailed the bilateral relations and friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia, saying the energy progects serve the best interests of both countries.
