Georgian Prime Minister visits Azerbaijanis poisoned in Marneuli

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili on Tuesday arrived in Marneuli to visit Azerbaijanis who were hospitalized after an apparent outbreak of food poisoning. The Prime Minister was informed that samples of dishes have been already taken, and the cause of poisoning will be determined soon. Kvirikashvili told reporters that the Ministry of Health is addressing this issue.

150 people were hospitalized in Marneuli, Tbilisi and Rustavi after consuming food at a wedding party in the village of Sadakhli. The mass poisoning was reportedly caused by poor quality food or beverages.
