On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and all your coreligionists on the occasion of the Coronation Day.
The current level of relations between Azerbaijan, which has rich tolerance traditions, and the Holy See is a source of especial satisfaction. The recent opening of the catacombs of Saints Marcellinus and Peter restored on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is an obvious example of our active cooperation in the name of preservation and strengthening of inter-civilizational and inter-religious dialogue, values of multiculturalism.
I am hopeful that we will continue our sincere dialogue aimed at preserving peace and stability on the planet, strengthening mutual understanding, support and unity among people.
On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health and success in your high spiritual mission.
