Hungary hosts presentation marking 100 Days To Go to Baku 2015

The Hungarian National Olympic Committee (NOC) and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Budapest have held a presentation entitled “Baku-2015: 100 To Go”. Hungarian officials, representatives of the sports community, journalists, and staff members of Azerbaijani Embassy attended the ceremony.
Hungarian Minister of State for Sport and Youth Affairs Istvan Simicsko described the presentation of Baku-2015 by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation last month as one of the most important events in the cultural and sporting life of Budapest.
He highlighted Hungary`s intention to host the Summer Olympics in 2024, stressing the importance of benefiting from Baku`s experience.
Mr Simicsko expressed confidence that Baku-2015 Olympic Games will open a new, remarkable chapter in the history of sport in Europe.
Director of Sports for the Hungarian Olympic Committee, Olympic champion Laszlo Fabian. said that he has already been in Baku twice as part of a Hungarian delegation in connection with the organization of the games. He hailed the preparation for the event.
The ceremony featured demonstration of a documentary made by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the European Games Organizing Committee on preparation for the first European Games.
