An inauguration of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who was re-elected for the fifth term on October 11, will take place no later than December 11, head of the Central Election Committee Lidiya Yermoshina told media here on Monday.
'The inauguration of the newly elected President should be held no later than two months after the elections, no later than 11 December,' she explained, adding that all the organizational issues related to the inauguration will be resolved by the Presidential Administration.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has won his fifth term with a landslide 83.5% of the vote. None of three other candidates in Sunday's election achieved more than 5%. The turnout was 86.75.
