“Today we observe obvious need for establishing strong contacts between the civil society and business. Their interaction is very actual now". It was stated in interview to AZERTAC by Francois Loriot, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the name for sustainable development, who participated in the VII Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations.
According to him, the non-governmental organizations maintaining interests of various groups of citizens need closer cooperation with representatives of business for achievement of the set goals.
In turn, businessmen are also interested in development of these ties as modern realities demand from business social responsibility.
One of the main barriers on the way of achievement of this purpose are the collisions of national legislations which aren't allowing to provide fully the principle of mutual interest in establishing relations. For the solution of this problem it is necessary relevant transformations in standard and legal base the efficiency of which can be guaranteed by studying of the international experience in this sphere, Francois Loriot stressed.
