İnternational conference on energy security held in Georgia

An international conference on security of the energy projects has been held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The event was co-organized by the NATO, Ilia State University and Lithuania Military Academy.

The event brought together experts from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

Addressing the event, employee of the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) under the President of Azerbaijan Gulmira Rzayeva spoke about the country`s energy and gas resources.

Deputy Director of the SOCAR Gas Export-Import Temur Japaridze highlighted the prospects of “Shahdeniz 2” project. The Deputy Director stressed the role of this project in ensuring the energy security of Europe.
