‘Iran and Azerbaijan are friendly and brotherly countries’

Tehran, June 30, AZERTAC

“Iran and Azerbaijan are friendly and brotherly countries. We are always happy for Azerbaijan`s achievements,” head of East Azerbaijan Province of Iran Ismail Jabbarzade has told AZERTAC.

Highlighting his visits to Baku and meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, he said economic reforms being implemented by the President of Azerbaijan give impetus to the country`s development. “Development of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan widens relations between the two countries. East Azerbaijan Province borders with Azerbaijan and it simplifies mutual investment,” Jabbarzade said.

“The number of tourists from East Azerbaijan Province to Baku, Nakhchivan and Ganja is increasing thanks to the beauty of Azerbaijani cities, simplification of visa regime and socio-political stability,” Jabbarzade added.
