Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-in has visited Ganja to attend the opening of the Korean film festival.
He held a meeting with first deputy head of the Executive Authority of Ganja Nagif Hamzayev, who gave detailed information about Azerbaijan's second largest city.
Hamzayev highlighted the significance of the Korean film festival. “The festival`s kicking off in Ganja is of great importance for local people”.
Ambassador Suk-in praised innovations he eyewitnesses in Ganja each time he visits the city.
The diplomat said the fact that Korean film festival begins in Ganja “testifies to our interest in this city”.
The Ambassador expressed his confidence that the one-week festival would contribute to the promotion of local people`s awareness of Korean culture, traditions and people.
He also highlighted the first European Games, hailing the organization of the event as excellent.
