Macedonian President receives honorary doctorate from Azerbaijan Public Administration Academy

Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov has today received honorary doctorate from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He was handed doctorate by rector of the academy Urkhan Alakbarov in a ceremony which was attended by students and teaching staff of the institution.
Alakbarov praised the Macedonian leader`s “outstanding” contribution to the development of science and democracy.
He said doctorate recognizes President Ivanov`s role in expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Macedonia in the fields of education and science.
The rector handed a certificate and cloak of honorary doctor to the Macedonian leader.
President Ivanov hailed Azerbaijan`s “sustainable and rapid” development. He said Azerbaijan enjoys growing international prestige, praising the country`s “successful” cooperation with international organizations.
